Everstead Counseling, PLLC.

A steady place to land when life feels uncertain.

At Everstead Counseling, the focus is on helping you connect with your inner steadiness to move forward with greater confidence, authenticity, and hope. We offer warm relational therapy to elders, adults, and teens in Austin and across Texas through telehealth.

You might be here because:

  • Anxiety, stress, or overwhelm feels constant

  • Depression, grief, or emotional exhaustion is affecting daily life

  • Even when you are around others you feel lonely or isolated

  • You carry a lot for others and have little space for yourself

  • You want to live more authentically but feel stuck or unsure how

How can therapy help?

At its root, counseling is a type of education often missing from traditional settings. The mind, heart, and body communicate through thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, offering insight into how closely your life reflects who you truly are. Therapy can help you better understand these signals, deepen self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My Method:

My approach is warm, honest, and down-to-earth. I provide evidence-based care integrating empathy, connection, direct feedback, humor, and practical counseling tools.

I base our work in Relational-Cultural Theory, which means the connection between us matters. I show up as a real, engaged person while holding a steady, supportive therapeutic space.

Together, we slow things down to notice patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and body, & how they connect to your life. From there, we build understanding and coping tools so change feels possible in everyday life.

Therapy is collaborative. We look at what feels stuck, what keeps repeating, and what might support movement toward a more grounded and authentic life.
